“What is food?
When people ask me what I’m doing, I tell them about whole natural foods, eaten in their pure state, and they stare at me as though I am advocating drowning puppies! It makes me wonder: What is food anyway?
Is it entertainment? Is it the means by which we assert our authority over other species? Is it those substances we mass produce in factories?
Can we go back to the beginning, for goodness sake? Food is fuel for organisms. Food converts to energy for our survival. Food is nourishment. Food is what we consume in order to live. Remember?

For most people who decide to eat healthy , we go typically to the conventionally grown lettuce and veggies in which most nutrients are almost non existent. We eat until we are full and 20 minutes later we are hungry again! But with high nutrient packed Organic foods, we don’t need to eat all that much to remain full and satisfied for hours after.

9 – Low Levels of Oxalic Acid. If you have problems with calcium oxalate kidney stones, romaine lettuce might be a good choice for leafy greens since it is very low in this anti-nutrient.

Getting enough sleep Is difficult with nutrient deficiencies.
When we sleep the body goes into regeneration mode and does all the work detoxifying the blood, nervous system, Glymphatic system ( brain and spinal cord fluids) and lymphatic systems ( the bodies primary sewer system). This sets the metabolic balance points for the next day. Without high nutrients and good sleep, we spend our day in a low level inflammatory fog feeling tired but wired, craving foods but still starving 20 minutes after we eat.
To get sufficient sleep, start eating an organic whole food plant and fruit based diet, lean a bit heavy on the leafy greens like romaine lettuce, kale, red cabbage, spinach, beet and sea weeds to build up the liver and bio available minerals…. Eat full meals of fruits like watermelon , grapes, apples, cherries, figs, raspberries for high detox and high energy …..
The body does need organic sulfates for many of it’s metabolic processes. Romaine Lettuce is high in this as well
That is not to be confused with elemental sulfur which is a toxin to the body and accumulates. Plants absorb the sulfates from the soil making them bio available to the body. But with commercial farming, sulfates are almost devoid in the soils. When it comes to minerals, size matters.
